CALL believes that when families and schools work together, children perform better in school. With this, families, and in particular, parents and guardians should know how they can be involved in the school community. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s education by keeping themselves well informed in all academic programs, cultural and social activities, and maintaining open communication with the teachers.
Parents-Teachers Association
The PTA is an integral part of the school community which promotes the welfare of the children and works to establish a close relationship between the parents and school. It provides funds and plans activities, sponsors various in-school events, and works to help the school obtain additional resources, sponsors health and safety programs for students and parents, keep parents informed on school related issues. All parents are encouraged to be active members and participants in school and the PTA.
