CALL celebrate Book Character Month
Books bring us delight, education, and encouragement, as they carry us to places we cannot go.
Christian Academy of Lion Lamb (CALL) celebrated Book Character Month last November 2021 with students from all grade levels of both online and offline. Each learner were required to wear their costumes and portrayed a book character and emphasized values he or she learned from the story.
The culminating activity was held last Nov. 26, 2021.
This activity aimed to improve the delivery of the Filipino language and to help the learners to comprehend and appreciate the values of the story.
Online involvement was enabled via Google Meeting and outputs were submitted via Classwork. Students who were unable to connect to the internet were asked to transmit their recorded video presentation through flash drive.
Moreover, the activity promotes reading as a tool for developing learners’ intelligence and creativity, as they portrayed character and presented stories interactively from their own point of view.
